Education

We offer Sunday School between worship services for ages 3 to adult, from approximately 9:45am to 10:45am. Nursery care is available for children 3 and under. Classes start the Sunday after Labor Day to mid-June.

Children's Sunday School: Classes are grouped by grade or age: early preschool, preschool/kindergarten, 1^st/2^nd, 3^rd (students are presented bibles), and 4^th/5^th. If you or your child(ren) are interested in Sunday school, please fill out a registration form and return it to the church office. Sunday school activities include the nativity program and frequently include an opening pool party and periodic pizza parties. On special occasions and school breaks, an intergenerational program may take the place of regular classes or classes may not be held. Please check the calendar for details and upcoming events. Confirmation: Middle school students are invited to join the Pastors and Donna King on specially scheduled Sunday afternoon or .evening sessions for special instruction in a 2 ½ year program. This leads to confirmation on Reformation Sunday of 9^th grade (the last Sunday in October). The 6^th/7^th/8^th grade group also meets for Sunday school during the regular hour.

High School Program: The high school program meets between services for educational opportunities and to organize activities.

Adult Sunday School: A variety of classes are offered each Sunday, usually in the form of a short-term discussion series. Current schedules with topics and classroom locations are printed every other month and are available in the entry. Grab some coffee and join in!
